"Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, baseball was my first love. The game showed me what it meant to be a team player and how you can really lose yourself in an activity you love.
In little league, I was always known for chewing Big League Chew on the mound. So when I was creating the pack, I thought, "Why not do the girls league flavor to honor my daughter, Nova, coming into the world?"
Back in the day, my dad, “Pop,” was a security guard providing protection to professional ball players. With his job, he would always score tickets to games and take the whole family with.
In the top of the second inning, I would run up the stadium stairs to the first concession I could find. I'd get a Gatorade and Cracker Jacks for both my dad and I. My mom, “Miss Debbie,” would always ask for the David's Seeds because she especially loved the ones from the ballpark. In no time, ballpark snacks became a ritual for us.
While the Ballpark Snacks Collection is about baseball and about ballpark snacks, it means even more when I think of the memories I have with my parents and the ones I'm creating every day with my daughter."
